Microsoft unveils Windows 8

Microsoft unveiled the next Windows on Tuesday - Windows 8.

It will run on touchscreen tablet computers as well as on traditional laptop and desktop computers, and will be released in 2012.

Microsoft also announced that it will launch the Windows Store - an online marketplace - to sell the application.

This move is one more step away from the dominance of the traditional laptop and desktop PC, and a further sign of the growth of using computers, the internet and social media on the move.

Client Spotlight: LSPS Skip Hire

This week we are giving a special mention to one of our long standing clients, LSPS Skip Hire.

LSPS are a well established, family run business which provide commercial and domestic skip hire in Leicestershire, offering a fast and reliable skip hire service to the following Leicestershire towns and villages:
They also offer waste disposal services, operating their own on-site waste transfer station, where they recycle all the waste from their Leicestershire skips, thus reducing the amount of waste in Leicestershire landfills. They also offer scrap metal recycling and machine moving.

They are constantly looking for ways to protect and improve the environment, and as such are now selling heat logs, which are one of the most environmentally friendly fuels for burning, made from the waste products of saw mills such as saw dust and off cuts. They radiate more heat than coal, are virtually smoke free due to their low moisture content, and produce a minimum amount of ash. Another fantastic innovation!
